How to resolve mailto not work in joomla?

One user have a button that he want to use as a contact button, but it is conflicting with the email cloaking plugin. The to field in his email program gets filled with javascript messages.

is there a way to disable the cloaking on a specific page or is there a way to get the following link to work?

Put the code {emailcloak=off} anywhere in the same article. This turns off email cloaking
